Hand-made electronic toys

I am building a series of huggable toys: blinking eyes, moving propeller, sound, and more. I think it will be fun to convert the whole process into a workshop.

About the process:

1. cut out the parts from fabric 

2. stitch them together 

3. IMPORTANT PART: using foam for making space between conductive material and connecting right parts.

metal folie is a cheap solution. I wish i had a conductive fabric!

challenging iPhone: Arduino communication + sensors

iPhone+alcohol


I used OTOduinofor establishing communication between iPhone and Arduino. Alcohol sensor is connected to the iphone and is able to measure alcohol in the air. I am working on experimental playful interfaces that this technology definitely enables and encourage 😉

Generative Play

The project is about the exploration of generative art. We are combining the image composition by a computer with manual generative approach and painting.

First, we have developed a computer algorithm that arranges images into a canvas in a continuous path. Then, we have applied the same rules for manual composition. Even more, we have turned the instructions into a game.
